I. Summary
   3D-SY750 series motor-driven pressure test pumps researched and produced by our factory are the generation-substituting products of motor-driven pressure test pumps of 2-cylinder and 4-cylinder in our country at present. This product has the characters such as small volume, compact structure, stable running, safety and reliability, complete function, great flow, high efficiency and so on. And the suitable range is wide, the compatibility is strong and the operation is simple. They are used for all places, needing pressure burst test and strength test, such as all kinds of pressure container, boiler, pipe fittings and so on. Can lock test pressure value according to the needs and undertake automatic pressure maintaining. The transferring medium of the pump is normal temperature clean water generally. Emulsion, anti-rust water and neutral oil with similar viscosity to water can also be used.    
 
II.Technical parameter
 

Three. Main structure and working principle
   This machine is mainly composed of high pressure reciprocating pump, overflow valve (there is no such part for specification above 40MPa), check pressure release valve and so on. 
   1. High pressure reciprocating pump: this pump is horizontal type 3-plunger pump. It is driven by electromotor and divided into power end and hydraulic end.
    (1) Power end: (according to drawing 1). It is composed of belt pulley, bent axle, connecting rod and so on. The motor drives and slows down by belt pulley, drives bent axle to rotate. The bent axle connecting rod mechanism changes the rotation movement into straight line reciprocating movement driving the plunger to move to and fro.
    (2) Hydraulic end: (according to drawing 2). It is composed of pump element, cylinder body, pump head, inlet and outlet valve group, safety valve and so on. The connecting rod drives the plunger to move to and fro making the internal volume of cylinder body change periodically. When plunger is intake stroke, the outlet valve closes. The working medium pushes up inlet valve because of atmospheric pressure and enters into cylinder body. When plunger is discharge stroke, the inlet valve closes. The plunger discharges working medium from pump head through outlet valve. This process goes on periodically and thus finishes the function of pump¨s taking in and discharging the working medium. 
   2. Overflow valve (according to drawing 3). It is used to adjust the output pressure of the pump and make system pressure constant. Turn clockwise the adjusting nut. The output pressure of the pump increases. Otherwise the output pressure decreases.
   When the user needs constant pressure output, he/she only needs to adjust pressure to the set value and lock the locknut.
   3. Check pressure release valve (according to drawing 4). It is used to break pressure maintaining automatically and unload system pressure. After the end of pressure maintaining test, open pressure release valve hand wheel and system pressure can be unloaded. During the pressure increasing process, if the system pressure is higher than the set valve because of misoperation, open pressure release valve hand wheel suitably and unload part of pressure and after that increase the pressure again.
   Pressure gauge is installed on that valve. During pressure increasing and pressure maintaining process, the pressure test pipeline pressure is displayed.
   
Four. Installation and usage method
1. Installation
  1Install handrail. 
  2Install motor starter and power source circuit(according to drawing 6). 
  3Install check pressure release valve(this article is packed separately after being taken down from principal machine when leaving  factory according to drawing 5). This article is connected with three- way opening of overflow valve by left and right hand thread nut (for the specification above 40MPa connect with pump head opening directly). The joint is sealed with red copper pad. 
  4Install pressure gauge
  5Connect pressure test pipeline with check pressure release valve using high pressure hosepipe. The joint is sealed with red copper pad.
  6Install inlet pipeline.
2. Usage method
  1The preparation work before usage.
   a. Add adequate lubricant in the drive box making the oil surface reach oil position indication line. The lubricant is number N46 machine oil (or 40# machine oil).
   b. Check each thread joint to see whether there is looseness.
   c. Check motor and the insulation part of starter to see whether they accord with the requirement of electric appliance code. For using electricity safely, the whole machine must be grounded reliably.
   d. Set up a clean water receiver and ensure adequate water source supply. Put the inlet pipe filter screen into water receiver. Note that the filter screen cannot be above water surface.  
   (2) Operation process
   A. The operation of the specificationwith overflow valvelower than 31.5MPa
   a. Open pressure release valve hang wheel and overflow valve adjusting nut.
   b. Start motor. Run for 5 minutes under normal pressure to check whether the running of the pump is normal. If there is no abnormal sound and the discharge medium of pump has no evident fluctuation, at this time the pressure increase operation can be undertaken.
   c. Close hand wheel of pressure release valve. Adjust overflow valve slowly and make system pressure increase slowly. After reaching test pressure loose overflow valve adjusting nut to unload the discharge pressure of the pump. After that stop the machine (if the user needs, the machine can be not to be stopped). At this time the pressure test pipeline is in automatic pressure maintaining status.
   d. After the end of pressure test, open hand wheel of pressure release valve to unload the pressure of pressure test pipeline.
   e. If it is used for constant pressure output medium, should close pressure release valve hand wheel. Adjust overflow valve to reach test pressure and lock locknut.
   B. The operation of the specificationwithout overflow valve above 40MPa
   a. Open pressure release valve hang wheel. 
   b. Start motor. Run for 5 minutes under normal pressure to check whether the running of the pump is normal. If there is no abnormal sound and the discharge medium of pump has no evident fluctuation, at this time the pressure increase operation can be undertaken.
   c. Stop the machine. Close hand wheel of pressure release valve. Point start the motor to increase pressure reaching test pressure and stop the machine. At this time the pressure test pipeline is in automatic pressure maintaining status.
   d. After the end of pressure test, open hand wheel of pressure release valve to unload the pressure of pressure test pipeline and pump¨s inside.
   (3) Cautions during usage process.
   A. For the specification lower than 31.5MPa (with overflow valve).
   a. During pressure increase process, if the pointer of the pressure gauge sways greatly, it means that the volume of article of pressure test of the user is very small. At this time it is the best that an adequate volume pressure container (should accord with relevant national standard) or other corresponding energy storage apparatus is connected with the system.
   b. Can adopt the method of pre-adjusting pressure point starting increasing pressure to increase pressure.
   c. If the pressure exceeds because of not being careful and accident, can open pressure release valve hand wheel. After unloading part of pressure increase pressure again.
   d. The test pressure cannot exceed the rated working pressure of the pump.
   B. For the specification above 40MPa(without overflow valve).
   a. If the volume of the pressure test article is bigger, firstly run continuously to increase pressure. Wait for approaching test pressure and then increase pressure by point starting. During operation process should pay close attention to system pressure to avoid unexpected pressure exceeding.
   b. If the pressure exceeds because of not being careful and accident, can open pressure release valve hand wheel. After unloading part of pressure increase pressure again. 
   c. The test pressure cannot exceed the rated working pressure of the pump.
   

Five. Maintenance
   1. The lubricant of the bent axle and pressure test medium should keep clean to avoid to be polluted by impurity.
   2. The lubricant used for the first time by the new machine should be changed after working for 40 hours. The time of changing for the second time is 80 hours. After that change once every about 200 hours. At the same time should wash oil pool.
   3. During the usage process should check at any time to see whether the fastener of each joint looses. If there is looseness fasten immediately.
   4. When being used in the winter frozen area, if the climate changes to reach freezing point, the test medium should be added antifreeze to prevent the residual water in the pump from freezing, which can cause the damage of pressure test pump. 
   5. If the machine is not used for a long time, should undertake anti-rust treatment. Firstly drain the residual water. Secondly undertake once suction and irrigation of anti-rust oil or anti-rust water. For the surface of the unpainted parts should coat with machine oil for anti-rust.
   6. If the pump has worked for 500-600 hours, should check main parts such as connecting rod, cross head, seal, valve group, plunger and so on. Change new parts if necessary.
